Divemasters

Francisco Linarez
The head of the Robert's Grove PADI 5 Star Dive Center, where he serves as both a dive instructor and master scuba diver trainer. Francisco says that "Working at Robert's Grove has been a great experience, especially since the resort puts a priority on dive safety and continuously invests in dive staff education and investing in the most up-to-date dive equipment available". Francisco became a dive instructor in 1997 while working in the dive operation at Rum Point Inn.

Malcolm Young
For 5 years Malcolm Young worked at the Rum Point Inn, where he first had experience as a divemaster and boat captain. During this time he spent several months in Halifax, Canada to obtain a Canadian Coast Guard 100t captain license and to become certified as a Diesel mechanic. Rum Point Inn was the first to purchase a Custom Dive Boat in Belize, and Malcolm became certified for the maintenance of Custom Dive boats in Florida and delivered the boat from the US to Placencia.

Having worked with Nekton Pilot for 4 years and conducting an endless number of cruises to the Bahamas and Belize, Malcolm decided to move back to Placencia and take care of his home after it was completely destroyed by Hurricane Iris. Soon after returning back to Placencia in early 2002 he started working at Robert’s Grove Beach Resort where he is a captain and maintains the fleet of various dive boats.

Fishing Guides

	Leopold Leslis Born 10th January 1967, Leopold Leslis is a native of Placencia Village. He has been working at RG for the past three years as a fly fishing guide. He initially was working as a fisher man and later decided to make the switch to fly fishing guide. Because of his experience as a fisher man, Leopold is certainly one of the best in the fly fishing business.
	Wayne Castellanos Born 18th May1977 in the beautiful Village of Monkey River, Wayne Castellanos has been employed by Robert's Grove as a fly fishing guide for the past decade. He is one of the most verse fly fishing guide because of years of experience and having the opportunities and expertise to work both on sea and rivers. ↑ top

SNORKELING GUIDES

Bruce Godfrey
Bruce was born on the 27th April 1970 in the village of Placencia and never once considered leaving this beautiful peninsula. He has worked at Robert's Grove Beach Resort for the last seven years as a captain and a snorkeling guide. He enjoys every moment of his work. Bruce had worked for many years as a fisherman off the cayes of Placencia when he decided to move over to the tourism industry. He brings all of his experience on the water to the exciting (and educational) snorkeling tours at RG.

Stephen Lopez
Born September 24th1981, Stephen Lopez is a proud son of Placencia Village. He has been employed by Robert's Grove for more than five years as a snorkeling guide. Living on the Placencia coast all his life, Stephen earned himself a great understanding of the ocean and the behavior of all that lives in it.

Tour Guides

Doyle Garbutt
Born November 11th1976, Doyle Garbutt has lived in Monkey River Village all his life. Doyle has been working as a guide for Robert's Grove on the Monkey River tours for more than 12 years and is considered to be one the best on this tour. He has a great deal of knowledge and experience about the wild life and all that inhabits the Monkey River jungle.
