Ranguana is a two-acre island (three
times as large as Robert’s Caye)and is located
1⁄2 mile from Belize’s Barrier Reef and
18 miles (a one hour boat ride) from Placencia. The
caye has three charming, rustic wood cabanas built high
on stilts with outside decks that offer cool breezes
and breathtaking views.
Each cabana is outfitted with one queen
and one single bed and a private bathroom. Meals are
served in a large palapa covered dining area. Although
chilling out is the number one activity on Ranguana,
its proximity to the reef makes it one of Belize’s
prime diving and snorkeling locations.
Rendezvous fishing and diving are available
through Robert’s Grove. For those who’d
rather spend their time on Ranguana’s beach, guests
can work on their kayaking skills, take a dip in the
gorgeous blue Caribbean or merely sway the day away
in a beach hammock.
Please Note:
Both of our privately owned islands are too far out to sea for us to operate any kind of ferry service to the mainland. It is not possible to go on mainland trips offered by Robert's Grove or partake of the resort's amenities. Once on the island, please expect to spend your entire time on the island.
