If you didn’t know better, you’d
think you’d landed in Bora Bora. Robert’s
Caye, a 1 acre island, is just 10 miles from Placencia
(1/2 hour by boat), with four tastefully appointed thatch
roofed cabanas built partially over the water. Each
cabana is outfitted with a king bed (or twins), full
bathroom with hot and cold running showers, and a private
terrace with hammocks and stairs that descend directly
into the Caribbean.
A small restaurant and bar, also built over the water,
serves three meals daily – or on your private
cabana terrace if you’d prefer. An ideal setting
for honeymooners and sportsmen alike, this “swept
away” island paradise is surrounded by crystal
clear water, ideal for swimming (right off your own
terrace), snorkeling and diving. The nearby flats are
renowned for fishing as well.
Rendezvous fishing is available through Robert’s Grove. Kayaks and snorkeling
gear are complimentary to island guests.
Please Note:
Both of our privately owned islands are too far out to sea for us to operate any kind of ferry service to the mainland. It is not possible to go on mainland trips offered by Robert's Grove or partake of the resort's amenities. Once on the island, please expect to spend your entire time on the island.
