The Belize Whale Shark season from April to June when allows these majestic animals to be observed at the Gladden Area by divers. Mutton and Cuberra snapper spawn here every year during the full moon, and the giant whale sharks come from far away to feed on the spawn and to mate.
Despite their size, whale sharks are remarkably gentle and curious. The whale shark's gentle nature makes swimming with them a special treat for divers and snorkelers. It is common on a Belize Whale Shark diving trip to see schools of snapper in the thousands with whale sharks passing through them. Divers will likely see these creatures very close, but they are not allowed to chase, ride, touch, or otherwise disturb the Whale Sharks. Looking to spend a few days diving? Check out our
